Helen McGhee has experience in taxation matters relating to real estate, corporate and personal tax. She has spent time working in Hong Kong and retains links in Asia. Helen advises internationally mobile high net worth individuals from all over the world on tax planning, the use of trusts and residence and domicile issues.
Helen provides advice to owner managed businesses on incorporation and a variety of other tax issues related to private equity transactions. Helen has an appreciation of corporate strategic tax objectives, having spent a year working as in house counsel at a subsidiary of Morgan Sindall PLC.
Helen is actively involved in dispute resolution cases with HMRC on a range of contentious tax planning and mitigation points.
Helen is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. She regularly attends meetings held by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales for young tax professionals.
