Greg Wehrer is an experienced trial lawyer based in Houston, whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. Greg has specific expertise in construction, energy, mass tort, insurance and healthcare matters.
Greg’s recent trial experience includes winning a unanimous US$1.7 million jury verdict in a construction defect case, and a seventeen-week class action jury trial involving fraud and environmental contamination claims related to a former refinery site, which resulted in a complete defense verdict for the firm’s client.
Since 2006, Greg has won a multimillion-dollar settlement for a China-based steel manufacturer in a Texas-based contract dispute; successfully prosecuted intellectual property claims on behalf of software developer in Colorado; defended an Ohio integrated healthcare system from Stark Act, anti-kickback, and antitrust claims; obtained a favorable ruling from the Ohio Supreme Court in a major real property tax exemption dispute; and achieved success representing both plaintiffs and defendants in pipeline-related construction disputes.
