Gina is an Associate in our real estate practice group based in our Leeds office. Her experience covers all aspects of commercial property and in particular portfolio acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and real estate finance. Gina has advised entities ranging from individual developers and investors to listed companies, pension funds and national owner occupier corporations.

Representative Experience

• Acted in the sale of an Industrial estate subject to 36 occupational leases for £36 million. The disposal was via the sale of shares of a JPUT.
• Acted for a developer client in the acquisition of an 87 acre brownfield site for a proposed mixed-use development including a new sea-side promenade worth an estimated £100m.
• Acted on behalf of RDA client in the simultaneous acquisition of various plots of land required for the purpose of a large regeneration project.
• Assisted the Business Recovery and Insolvency team with the property aspects of the acquisition of the business and assets of a well known retail chain from its Administrators. The deal involved assignments, new leases, surrenders and variations of various lease terms of in excess of 60 properties.
• Experience acting for various retailer clients in relation to both new and existing properties.
• Acted for a development company in the acquisition of sites for development. Contracts usually being exchanged conditionally subject to planning.
• Acted for National Westminster bank plc and RBS on various Islamic mortgage transactions.
• Acted for Bio ethanol company in the acquisition of a new site for a new bio refinery.
