Geoff Perry is a partner in our Corporate Transactions, Finance & Governance Department based in our Birmingham office. He specialises in corporate finance and, in particular, mergers and acquisitions for public and private companies, listed company work, strategic joint ventures and corporate reorganisations. As well as advising venture capital and private equity investors, he acts for management teams and owner managers on equity investments, buy outs, buy ins and exits.

Geoff has particular experience of international, cross-border mergers and acquisitions having spent three years living and working in Hungary undertaking transactions across central and eastern Europe.

Geoff is a member of the Donor Development Committee of a significant Midlands charity, The Birmingham & Black Country Community Foundation. He also represents the firm as a member of the CBI West Midlands Council.

• Representing Expomedia Group PLC on all of its UK and international acquisitions including, in the UK, the acquisition of Homebuyer Events Limited
• Advising C.H. Bailey, Plc on its transfer from the Official List to AIM and various transactions including a complex share capital reorganisation and a fundamental change of business
• Representing the owner manager of Tensator Limited on the sale of that company to private equity investor, The Riverside Company
• Acting for Central and Eastern European private equity investor, Euroventures III LP in relation to numerous cross-border private equity investments, including insurance brokerage business MAI Group, HR and administration outsource provider UCMS Group and budget airline Sky Europe
• Acting for the owner managers on the sale of Vanguard Healthcare Solutions to Nuffield Hospitals
• Representing Citibank in Hungary on the acquisition of the Hungarian consumer banking business of ING Bank
• Management on the MBO of Generation UK from Mitie Group
