Gemma Del Pozzo

Associate

Gemma Del Pozzo is a member of our Litigation Practice Group and focuses on commercial disputes. Gemma advises a range of clients including financial institutions and large corporations on banking disputes, intellectual property matters and corruption investigations.

Prior to joining Squire Sanders, Gemma served on the commercial dispute resolution team of an international law firm. She also completed an eight month secondment with a company that produces and markets wine and other alcohol products. Her secondment experience included negotiating commercial contracts and providing ad hoc advice to various parts of the business.

Representative Experience
  • Undertaking a full-scale investigation for a large global bank and reporting to the Financial Services Authority.
  • Advising a pension trustee on the disclosure of personal data on the Internet.
  • Advising a non-UK based company on settlement negotiations with a UK-based IT service provider.
  • Undertaking a contractor corruption investigation in the US on behalf of a UK-based oil company.
  • Assisting with the property law aspects of the construction of a large shopping centre in West London.
  • Acting for the purchaser of an automotive company being sold out of administration using a pre-packaged structure, including coordinating the release of security held over assets in 17 jurisdictions.
  • Advising an Africa-based gold mining company in a dispute with former director.
  • Acting for an investment bank in a dispute with two former traders over bonus payments.
  • Advising a beverage company in the sale of part of its business to another company in the beverages industry.
