Francisco Guijarro is a Consultant in our corporate and taxation practice groups. He was the head of our Madrid Office until April 2009.

Francisco has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 1979. Francisco belongs to the State Finance Inspectors Corps. As representative for the Ministry of Finance he was a member of the Transfer Pricing and Multinational Groups of the OCDE in Paris. He is a member of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisers and the International Fiscal Association and a member of the Editorial Board of Tax Review Magazine (Impuestos) and the board of the Harvard Club of Spain.

Representative Experience

• Advising multinational groups with operations in Spain on tax issues and the tax structuring of foreign investments in Spain.
• Advising the national and international restructuring of leading Spanish groups in different sectors of activity, such as real estate, construction, leisure, banking and finance.
• Advising on the tax planning and design of incentive schemes for employees of different national and international industrial and real estate groups.
• Restructuring of a luxury international hotel group for a joint venture development project with an international investment fund.
