Eva Sánchez Senior Associate

Eva Sánchez Gómez is an associated lawyer in our Built Environment Group practice based in our Madrid office.

Her particular expertise covers Corporate and Real Estate practice. She usually advises in the area of real estate projects and urban developments and represents local and international real estate development groups in all type of transactions in Spain (incorporations, acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, companies restructuring, lease agreements, construction agreements, etc).

Eva has been listed in Chambers and Partners 2010 “for her attention to detail, accessibility and commercialism”, and also in Chambers and Partners 2011. 

Prior to joining Squire Sanders, Eva worked in the Real Estate Department of the Spanish-based law firm Gómez-Acebo & Pombo from 2000 to 2003 and in the also Spanish-based law firm Acebo & Rubio from 2003 to 2006.

Representative Experience

• Advising a property fund on the disposal of several luxury hotels in Barcelona and Tenerife.
• Advising a property fund on the acquisitions and sales of Retail Parks.
• Advising a British Group for the acquisition of plots to develop a residential complex.
• Advising property funds on the commercialization of the commercial premises of Retail Parks.
• Acting in the purchase of Spanish companies and/ or several assets based in Spain by Spanish investors and also by foreign companies that wish to invest in Spain.
• Advising foreign investors on the acquisition of an Industrial Park based in Spain.
• Advising Spanish Company regarding Stock Options plans.
• Advising clients for the building of effective relationships between several investors.
