Erik J. Rickard focuses his practice on real estate, real estate finance, joint ventures, equity funds, low-income housing tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, new market tax credits and commercial lending law. Mr. Rickard represents developers, investors, funds and financial institutions in the acquisition, senior and mezzanine debt financing and equity financing of real estate. He also represents clients in equity syndication through limited partnerships and limited liability companies of low-income housing, historic and new markets tax credits, and has assisted clients in obtaining or providing senior and subordinate financing for affordable housing and other community development projects. Mr. Rickard is a frequent speaker at various new markets tax credit conferences across the United States. Mr. Rickard is a member of the American, Ohio State and Columbus Bar Association.
