Emma Bissett has a broad range of expertise and experience in commercial property work.

Emma has traditionally acted for several regional development agencies in England and continues to act for many local authorities in Yorkshire and across the UK. Emma specialises in acting for the public sector in the regeneration of city centre and brownfield sites. Emma is particularly experienced in acting for the public sector in all aspects of the acquisition development and onward sale of such sites.

Emma has considerable experience in acting for acquiring Authorities in relation to the promotion of Compulsory Purchase Orders and is a member of the dedicated CPO team within the Built Environment Group.

As part of the Corporate Real Estate team Emma works with our corporate team on acquisitions and disposals of businesses with property portfolios and with our banking team in relation to business restructuring and refinancing.

In addition, Emma advises a number of large corporations on their real estate requirements including Daniels Chilled Foods Limited, Think Money Limited, SCA Packaging and SAICA Pack UK.

Representative Experience

• Acting for Royal Mail in relation to the sale of various sites around the Country and the leasing of new delivery offices.
• Acting for Daniels Chilled Foods Limited in relation to a variety of Landlord and Tenant matters; including the development and leasing of new warehouse premises.
• Acting for Think Money Group Limited in relation to the taking of a lease of large office premises in Salford Quays and the development of a new office park in Trafford Park.
• Acting for Wingas Storage UK Limited providing property advice in respect of its high profile underground gas storage project at Saltfleetby, Lincolnshire.
• Acting for the London Development Agency in relation to a CPO in the east end of London.
