Delizia Diaz

Delizia Diaz has experience in a variety of commercial and information technology matters however, she primarily has expertise in cross-border data protection compliance projects.
Prior to undertaking her training contract and qualifying with Squire Sanders, Delizia did her law degree and masters in international business law in France, where she is originally from.
Representative Experience
- Advising on a variety of IT matters ranging from traditional outsourcing arrangements to iPhone application development agreements.
- Drafting and negotiating a number of outsourcing agreements, including various pension administration and consultancy agreements.
- Using her significant experience in dealing with regulatory matters including cross-border data protection compliance. She is currently managing a compliance project on behalf of a leading advertising and media company involving around 40 jurisdictions and liaises regularly with Squire Sanders offices around the world.
- Advising on e-commerce regulations and drafting of transactional website terms and conditions, terms of use and privacy policies, including competitions and prize draw terms.
- Providing ad hoc advice to pensions and employment teams with queries varying from expression of wish forms to management of aggrieved employees’ or members’ data subject access requests.
- Presenting at a Squire Sanders seminar on data security and organising an inter-office training session on data protection for our employment teams.
