Saya Shimada focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, international transactions, intellectual property, general corporate transactions and Japan-based litigations. Her industry experience includes advising food production, electronics and software companies.

Saya has recently handled bankruptcy and restructuring matters in the United States and the Netherlands, a corporate alliance in Switzerland and advised a Japan-based company listed in both Japan and the United States on corporate governance.

Saya is a member of the Tokyo Bar Association.
