Daniela Felser is of counsel in the Real Estate practice based in our Berlin office. She has specialized in real estate law and commercial property law.  She is a certified lawyer for tenancy and residential property law (Fachanwältin für Miet- und Wohnungseigentumsrecht) and has comprehensive experience in providing legal advice on all aspects relating to real estate, in particular with respect to real property law as well as leasehold law.  Her clients mainly consist of domestic and foreign real estate funds, investment banks, other real estate investors, project developers and real estate companies.

In the recent past, Daniela most notably advised well known real estate investors and investment funds on the assessment of tenancy and leasehold agreements as well as on the acquisition of larger individual real estate objects and real estate portfolios. She has long time experience in conducting litigation relating to leasehold law.

Representative Experience

• Advising and representing various real estate funds having 6,000 apartments and 15,000 sqm of office and business space
• Advising the investor in connection with the acquisition of a shopping centre, in particular providing legal advice on the preparation of the overall concept under real estate law
• Advising a German subsidiary of an American insurance company in connection with the acquisition of several office and business buildings as well as shopping centres (approx. 120,000sqm commercial space) and consumer markets
• Advising a nationwide, private media company (radio and television broadcasting company) in connection with the relocation of the broadcasting station to new commercial premises in Cologne (80,000sqm) as well as the site in Berlin
• Advising an investor in connection with the construction of a real estate object having commercial and residential premises in Berlin
• Advising on the use of a cultural and historical monument in Berlin
• Advising a subsidiary of a major German bank in connection with the assertion of claims resulting from the purchase agreement as well as the acquired rent guarantees with regards to a shopping centre
• Advising the investor in connection with the construction of a real estate object in Berlin
• Advising various international investors on contractual options with respect to the construction and operation of a hotel
• Providing on-going advice on tenancy law and litigation for a large private housing association in the largest city in Germany
