Tatiana Prokopová’s real estate experience includes representing owners, developers, greenfield investors, financial investors and institutions in all aspects of real estate transactions.

Tatiana’s finance experience includes representing private borrowers in bilateral and syndicated loans, project finance transactions and dealing with finance governance issues for financial services mediators for the National Bank of Slovakia and their agents.

Tatiana’s corporate practice involves representing foreign investors and venture capital funds in acquisitions, investments and disinvestments in Central and Eastern Europe, and domestic corporations in stock and asset transactions and joint ventures.

Tatiana joined the Bratislava office in 1999 as an associate after graduating from Faculty of Law, Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. As an associate at Squire Sanders, she assisted clients from its Cleveland, Prague and Bratislava offices. Prior to re-joining the Bratislava office of Squire Sanders as a partner, Tatiana served five years as the general manager and chief legal officer of SL Group Slovakia, a member of Israeli real estate developer Ambassador International Real Estate Ltd. She was responsible for the development of its residential projects in Slovak Republic and all its legal matters.

Tatiana’s publications include the article “Changes in Real Estate Law” published in Connection Magazine in January 2012 and “Security Interests in Immovables – Slovakia” published by the Center for International Legal Studies in August 2004.

Tatiana is a member of the Slovak Bar Association. She is a supervisory board member of the Central European Corporate Governance Association (CECGA).
