Stephanie has appeared and argued before a number of state and federal courts throughout the United States, and has participated in several jury trials and arbitrations. Her practice focuses on complex commercial, products liability and toxic tort matters. She also has experience representing both debtors and creditors in adversary proceedings and other bankruptcy related matters, and in representing mortgage lenders in foreclosure and related proceedings.
She is the author of “Bridging the (Significant) Gap: To What Extent Does The Telecommunications Act of 1996 Contemplate Seamless Service?” published in the February 2002 edition of the Notre Dame Law Review.
Stephanie was recognized as a Rising Star in Ohio Super Lawyers magazine five out of the last six years, a distinction that recognizes lawyers under the age of 40 or those in practice for 10 years or less. She also was recognized by the firm in 2010 as a Woman of Professional Excellence, an honor given in conjunction with the YWCA of Greater Cleveland that recognizes high professional standards and demonstrated career and personal growth, significant contributions to the effective, efficient operation of the firm, and a willingness to support and mentor others in the firm, especially women.
In 2006 Stephanie spoke at a NITA/LexisNexis Litigation Leadership Summit on Training and Mentoring Best Practices. In 2007 she co-moderated a panel discussion at the ABA’s Women in Law Leadership Academy in Chicago.
Stephanie is on the Hiring Committee for the Cleveland office. She is a member of the American and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations and the John M. Manos Inn of Court. She also served for a number of years as a board member of the LexisNexis National Accounts Advisory Board.
