Katsuhiro Takeda’s practice focuses on intellectual property, litigation, alternative dispute resolution and corporate transactions. As a certified applied information technology engineer, he has experience counseling clients on matters in technology fields including computer programming, networks and security.

Prior to a career in law, he consulted on intellectual property issues encountered when creating and running web pages via message boards on the Internet. This activity was picked up by the education channel of NHK, Japan-based broadcasting company, in a home page development program called “Shyumi Yuhyu” (Hobby in Comfort), where he spoke on copyright infringement and Internet-related issues. Katsuhiro also developed a software game that was featured in a computer magazine.

With his computer background, Katsuhiro makes every effort to apply his technical knowledge when working on legal matters involving technology.

Katsuhiro is a member of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association.
