JoEllen Minchak primarily advises clients on debt financing transactions, commercial business transactions, securitizations, restructurings and workouts.

JoEllen has experience in a broad array of financing and capital formation, with a concentration in counseling borrowers and lenders in secured and unsecured loan transactions including syndicated financings, investment grade, highly leveraged and asset-based loans; high-yield debt placements; mezzanine financing transactions; and multicurrency and international lending transactions. She also has experience in loan restructurings and workout transactions, secured party sales, debtor-in-possession and exit financings, reorganizations and other insolvency proceedings. She also structures and negotiates asset-backed securitization transactions, business and distribution agreements, equipment and facility leasings, and other commercial business arrangements.

JoEllen is an active member of the American Bar Association's Business Law Section and Uniform Commercial Code Committee. She serves as a member of the Ohio Bar Association and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's Banking, Commercial and Bankruptcy Law Section. She has been named as one of America’s leading lawyers in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America and as an Ohio Super Lawyer.
