David Gabianelli has a diverse commercial litigation practice including product liability actions, insurance coverage disputes, environmental lawsuits and employment law matters. David represents Fortune 500 companies in the defense of toxic tort actions, breach of contract claims and unfair competition matters.

David represents numerous clients in the insurance industry. He has handled complex insurance coverage disputes for more than 18 years including six trials in state and federal courts. He has litigated coverage disputes involving underlying claims for environmental contamination, advertising injury, professional liability, employer discrimination and asbestos bodily injury.

He counsels clients in the field of environmental law and litigates Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and Proposition 65 actions.

His experience in employment law primarily includes counseling companies of all sizes and litigating discrimination and harassment claims and wage and hour class actions.

David is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco. He has been named a Northern California Super Lawyer on multiple occasions. He is active in local pro bono circles and serves on the board of directors of Legal Aid of Marin and is a member of the San Francisco Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights.
