Arman Pahlavan is co-chair of the Squire Sanders private equity and technology practice and a resident of the Palo Alto office.
He advises public and private companies, venture capital and private equity funds on various aspects of their business transactions. His clients span across industry sectors including software and communications, life sciences and energy technologies.
Arman has represented clients in a multitude of private equity, venture capital and mergers and acquisitions transactions valued at billions of dollars in transaction value. He has acted as fund counsel to several funds. In addition Arman has acted as counsel in the representation of public companies, foreign private issuers and in securities litigation matters.
Arman’s fund clients include Invesco; Invesco Private Capital; One East Capital Advisors; Angeleno Group; Vedanta Capital; Selby Venture Partners; Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers; Tomorrow Ventures; Leucadia National Corporation; Almaz Capital Partners; Sofinnova Ventures; and Claremont Creek Ventures, among others.
He is a frequent contributor to private equity and technology industry associations on various topics. He appears on panels and roundtables concerning industry topics and is quoted in media coverage on related issues. Arman has served as a member of the board of directors of various organizations promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in Silicon Valley.
Arman has also been selected by his peers for inclusion in
