Cristelle Devergies specializes in employment law and social security law. Cristelle has a masters degree in Private law specializing in Employment law (Paris X) along with a post graduate applied degree and a post-graduate degrees in labour law (DESS - Clermont-Ferrand I & DEA - Ecole doctorale de Lille II).
She was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2006.
She is a member of the Employment and Labor law team based in our Paris office.
Her practice covers all aspects of collective and individual issues of employment law in France.
She spent one year in an individual law firm mainly practising employment law before joining Squire Sanders in 2007.
Representative Experience
- Advising on prohibition of preparatory dismissal measures during maternity leave.
- Advising on medical inspection of an employee on sick leave contributing to prove the existence moral harassment.
- Advising on notification of a dismissal delivered in person to the employee in question.
- Advising on the individual redeployment convention (CRP), in the absence of economic grounds when payment in lieu of notice is due
- Advising employer's on checking the record of an employee's hits on the web.
- Advising on economical reasons in case of termination within the five years time limit.
