Clare Hunt

Associate

Clare Hunt's expertise covers commercial property work, including public sector regeneration and commercial development work.

She acts for a number of public bodies, private residential developers, a national charity and a number of corporate occupiers. Clare is the client team manager for the national charity and co-ordinates a multi-disciplinary team to service this client. Clare also acts for Millennium Point, Birmingham’s flagship Millennium project which celebrates and encourages science, technology and education in Birmingham and the wider region.

Representative Experience

    • Advising a national charity on their national property portfolio review and subsequent disposal programme.  
    • Acting for Millennium Point in relation to the Birmingham Eastside city park and the proposed Millennium Point/Thinktank science garden.   The park is the first major new city centre park in Birmingham for 100 years.
    • Advising Millennium Point in relation to leasehold disposals.
    • Advising the Land Trust on a number of strategic land acquisitions and funding agreements.
    • Advising a private healthcare provider on the freehold and leasehold acquisition of new private healthcare facilities.
    • Acting for a major hotel operator on leasehold disposals of part of their hotel portfolio.
    • Advising on the disposal of development plots on a 100 acre former colliery site for Homes and Communities Agency.
    • Acted for Advantage West Midlands on the freehold and long leasehold disposals of a former airfield for development as a high-tech business park.  
    • Acting on the grant funding and development agreement for a multi million pound 50,000 sq ft mixed-use scheme regeneration project acted for Advantage West Midlands.
    • Advising on service/utility infrastructure agreements on a number of sites.
