Christopher Thomas focuses his practice on corporate acquisitions, mergers and dispositions, corporate governance, and securities matters for private and public companies. Christopher’s practice also includes a variety of debt and corporate finance matters.
Christopher is a member of the Havard Law School Association’s Recent Graduates Council and the Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations.
Representative Experience
- Advising a Fortune 200 company in its US$200 million spinoff of a manufacturing division located throughout Europe and Latin America.
- Advising a Canada-based fruit juice and beverage manufacturer on a US$390 million merger with a US-based beverage manufacturer and the financing of that transaction.
- Advising a private equity fund on a US$150 million investment in Russia and the financing of the transaction.
- Representing a diversified chemical company in a multibillion dollar acquisition.
- Representing a Spain-based energy company in connection with a US$300 million credit facility for the construction of ethanol manufacturing plans.
- Representing an NFL team in various litigation and corporate matters.
- Preparing annual meeting materials and other periodic filings for several public companies.
