Catherine Gritt is an associate in our Litigation Practice based in our Manchester office. Catherine's experience encompasses a range of property litigation, general commercial and finance litigation matters.
Catherine is a regular volunteer for Business in the Community. She is a regular contributor to our Property Action Quarterly Review.
Representative Experience

Acting for mortgage providers in pursuing professional negligence claims against their former advisers, including assisting with a succession of mass mediation exercises;

Acting for mortgage providers to rectify title and perfect their security over residential properties;

Acting for a long-standing client in initiating committal proceedings for contempt of court;

Acting for several long-standing clients of the firm in the recovery of debts owed by commercial customers in jurisdictions both within and outside the European Union;

Acting for tenants in High Court proceedings regarding the validity of operation of a break clause;

Acting for tenants in defending an action by the Landlord for “constructive distress” on the basis that the landlord’s actions have terminated the Lease.
