Caroline Waite focuses her practice on commercial and technology matters. Since joining Squire Sanders in 1999, Caroline has worked with the London technology group on a number of projects including SAP implementations, middleware development projects, managed services, consultancy, support, software licensing, outsourcing, systems integration and equipment leasing/financing agreements. She also has experience with e-business transactions including business-to-business trading exchanges, website design, linking and hosting agreements.
As part of her commercial practice, Caroline regularly advises a number of UK-based and international businesses operating across an array of industries from retail to the rail industry on a range of general commercial matters.
She is a member of the Law Society.
Representative Experience
- Advising an Internet company on its application to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers for a new top-level domain name.
- Providing secondment to a global information technology supplier to assist its legal and commercial departments for 11 months.
- Advising a train operating company in relation to its day-to-day procurement requirements.
- Representing a major supplier in relation to a UK government agency’s outsourcing of its IT capability, worth more than £100 million.
- Advising a global technology supplier in relation to the supply of a business critical managed services solution to a major financial institution.
