Carl Rohsler

Partner

Carl is a partner and head of our Intellectual Property and Technology practice in Europe, based in our London office. His practice covers the full range of intellectual property work including patents, trade marks and designs, copyright and confidential information. Although working on both contentious and non-contentious matters, Carl is best known for his work as a litigator, having been involved in a number of leading IP cases since 1995. He is a solicitor advocate (High Court: Civil 2001).

Carl is also known as one of the UK’s leading experts on gambling law, acting for a number of the leading online and land-based gambling operations in the UK and across the world.

Carl’s expertise in both IP and gambling law has been recognized in the 2004 to 2010 editions of Legal Experts, 2003 to 2011 editions of The Legal 500 UK, and Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession.

In addition to his expertise in IP and gambling regulation, Carl has considerable experience in advertising and marketing regulation, data protection, e-commerce and labeling and packaging law. He is a visiting lecturer at the University of Montpellier, France.
