Bruce A. Khula

Bruce Khula focuses his practice on appellate and complex litigation in state and federal courts including product liability, contract disputes, property matters and business torts. He was listed in Ohio Super Lawyers – Rising Stars 2009, a distinction honoring the top up-and-coming lawyers in the state.
Prior to joining Squire Sanders in 2006, Bruce was an assistant US attorney in the Cleveland office of the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio. In this capacity he acquired extensive experience in criminal appeals, as well as in trial and sentencing proceedings. In addition, Bruce served as law clerk to The Honorable Paul V. Niemeyer of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, where he gained experience in federal constitutional law, criminal and civil procedure, immigration, commercial litigation and federal regulation.
Bruce has published and presented on the topics of antitrust enforcement, business-congressional relations and the history of US foreign policy. His prior research efforts have also focused on land use, eminent domain and urban renewal.
In 2010 Bruce was appointed to serve as a magistrate for the City of North Olmsted's Community Diversion Program. He is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations.
