Anthony Stanford Associate

Anthony Stanford’s practice focuses primarily on non-contentious banking and finance transactions and associated documentation.  Anthony has experience in secured and unsecured, domestic and cross-border banking transactions including general lending, acquisition finance, real estate finance and restructuring.

Anthony spent two and a half years with the National Australia Bank’s Legal Transactions and Dispute Resolution Teams before qualifying and moving to the United Kingdom in 2007.

Representative Experience

• Assisted in the completion of a £37,000,000 multicurrency term and revolving facility for the purpose of financing the Engine Group Limited’s acquisition of strategic industry partners and refinancing existing indebtedness.
• Assisted in the completion of a US$250,000,000 asset based credit facility for the purpose of financing a leading supplier of private label carbonated soft drinks ongoing corporate and working capital requirements and refinancing existing indebtedness.
• Assisted in advising Jabil Circuit Inc. on the UK aspects of a US$200,000,000 securitisation of trade receivables via special purpose vehicles established in Ireland and the Netherlands.
• Assisted in the completion of a £52,000,000 bridging loan and €61,000,000 term loan facility in connection with the sale and lease-back of certain English, Scottish and Irish properties by Aldi Stores Limited and its joint venture partner.
• Assisted in the completion of a £29,500,000 term loan facility in connection with the development of a student accommodation complex for a Yorkshire based University by a real estate investor and its joint venture partners.
• Assisted in the completion of a £27,000,000 multicurrency term and revolving facility for the purpose of financing Inflexion Private Equity’s investment in Griffin Global Group.
• Assisted in advising Investec Bank plc on the completion of a £16,000,000 term and revolving facility for the purpose of financing Rutland Partners LLP’s acquisition of Brandon Hire plc.
