Anne is a real estate partner in the Birmingham office.  Her particular expertise covers residential and commercial property development and property related regeneration work. In particular she leads cross-office, cross-department, multi-disciplinary teams on major projects involving both the private sector, the public sector, or a joint venture between the public and private sectors.

Anne leads the Regeneration Practice nationally. Anne is ranked in band 1 for real estate by Chambers UK 2009 and 2010. She is also a Leading Individual in the 2009 through 2011 editions of The Legal 500 UK.

Anne was the Chairman of The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra Development Trust for many years, and a member of the Board of The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. Whilst she has now stood down, by rotation, she remains committed to the Orchestra and its works.

Representative Experience

• Acting for Persimmon Homes Limited in connection with a collaboration arrangement between Persimmon on St Modwen Developments, covering a wide number of sites nationally.
• Acting for Advantage West Midlands and East Midlands Development Agency in relation to the Manufacturing and Technology Centre, located at Ansty.  This development is critical to job creation within the East and West Midlands and we have handled no only the property aspects of the transaction but also the grant agreement and related intellectual property documentation.
