Andrew Peters

Associate

Andrew is an associate in our London Labour & Employment practice group.

Andrew advises clients on both contentious and non-contentious issues.

He has recently advised on the defence of claims of unfair dismissal, race discrimination, breach of contract and sex discrimination in the Employment Tribunal. He advises on the full range of employment law including family rights, disciplinary and dismissal procedure and other discrimination claims. Andrew has particular experience in defending high-volume, high-value equal pay claims, having represented a number of large public sector bodies facing such claims. In one of these claims, a contested point of law was eventually presented before the Court of Appeal, leading to a landmark decision in the area. Andrew also provides corporate support advice on share acquisitions and business transfers, including TUPE 2006 issues.

Andrew has spent 6 months on secondment at a global food manufacturer advising on employment, commercial and marketing law.
