Amy is a senior associate in the Restructuring & Insolvency Group based in our Birmingham office. Amy advises banks, asset-based lenders, insolvency practitioners and creditors on corporate and individual restructuring and insolvencies including all issues arising out of administrations, receivership, company voluntary arrangements and liquidations.
Amy devotes the majority of her practice to contentious insolvency issues. She has experience in a range of insolvency disputes including wrongful trading, antecedent transactions, misfeasance actions as well as obtaining a number of injunctions on behalf of financial institutions and office holders. Amy has undertaken an extended secondment in the restructuring team at a large bank in the UK.

Representative Experience
- Acting for insolvency practitioners, asset-based lenders and financial institutions in the consideration and implementation of insolvency procedures, as well as throughout the insolvency process.
- Representing administrators in connection with obtaining a mandatory injunction against directors and other connected parties to recover assets transferred pre-administration.
- Advising on a number of insolvencies of Tier 1 suppliers to the automotive industry acting both for OEMs and insolvency practitioners.
- Advising on all aspects of an insolvency including obtaining injunctive relief against a supplier, advising on retention of title, security and property issues with PricewaterhouseCoopers as administrators of Adams Childrenswear Limited.
- Advising office holders, investigating the conduct of directors of insolvent companies including actions for recovery of assets, wrongful trading and setting aside antecedent transactions and misfeasance claims against directors and former office holders.
- Advising creditors on retention of title, misfeasance and other claims against insolvent companies.
- Advising an asset-based lender on a large scale collect out of disputed debts on an administration.
- Supervising a solicitor on search orders.
