Anastasia Melnikova’s experience focuses on general corporate, labor and migration law matters including legal research to support legal decisions, due diligence reviews and preparation of legal memoranda.

As a paralegal with Squire Sanders she developed a deep knowledge of Russian civil and international law during her previous experience.

Representative Experience

• Advising clients on procedural issues involving registration, creation and liquidation of companies in Russia including entities with foreign investment, as well as the accreditation and closing of representative and branch offices of foreign companies owing to termination of their activities in Russia.
• Advising clients on general corporate law matters in the day-to-day activities of companies in Russia, as well as the branch and representative offices of foreign entities in Russia, maintaining corporate documents of clients, such as drafting the minutes of shareholders’ general meetings and constitutional documents.
• Providing support for transactions involving the sale and purchase of participatory shares in the charter capital of limited liability companies including drafting and executing sale and purchase agreements, and related legal documents.
• Counseling clients on labor and migration-related issues including hiring and discharging employees, obtaining work permits for foreign nationals and drafting employment contracts with both foreign and Russian nationals.
