Alfonso López is a senior associate in the property, construction and planning practice based in our Madrid office. He has more than 10 years of experience with particular expertise in real estate, project finance, M&A, corporate finance, reorganizations and joint ventures, commercial transactions and general corporate law. He also has specialized energy sector experience in the photovoltaic business.

Alfonso is a regular speaker at various seminars and conferences organized by universities and educational centers.

• Advising on the purchase and sale of a commercial center for a large Spanish retail distribution group.
• Advising on the leasing process for one of the largest recently opened commercial complexes in Spain.
• Advising on the sale and leaseback of several premises from a large Spanish tour operator.
• Advising on the finance and acquisition of several hotels for a large international hotel group.
• Advising on the reorganization of multinational corporations with Spain-based holding companies and subsidiaries in several countries in South America including Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico.
• Advising a client on the acquisition of a Spain-based company engaged in maintenance of “electro-medicine” equipment.
• Advising on the merger of several companies of a large international industrial group engaged in technical installations and maintenance with a strong presence in Spain.
• Advising on the structure of a joint venture for a publicity and marketing corporation.
• Advising a listed Spanish photovoltaic corporation on the acquisition of wafers, cells and manufacturing technology in the international market, supply of PV panels and drafting of EPC and O&M contracts.
