Alex’s practice advises both banks and borrowers on all aspects of banking law associated with corporate transactions. These include the areas of acquisition finance, property finance, project finance and restructuring.
Alex has experience in representing both the bank and borrower in a range of corporate transactions. Most recently, Alex has been advising one of the UK’s largest banks in connection with various acquisitions entered into by its customer. Alex has also represented clients in connection with the refinancing of existing debt and has acted on both sides of the fence in this regard. Acting for the borrower, Alex has recently advised a major UK transport logistics company in connection with a £100 million refinancing. Acting for the bank, Alex has advised a worldwide commercial lender on the refinancing of existing invoice discounting facilities, which incorporated a cross border element.
