Alexandre Le Ninivin’s practice focuses on commercial, banking and contractual deals with a particular interest in European insolvency and corporate & debt recovery matters, both contentious and non-contentious.

As litigator and a negotiator, Alexandre is capable of advising clients and devising the most effective strategy to resolve their problems or conflicts.

In order to enhance the link between the Paris and London offices, Alexandre undertook a secondment to the London office in 2008, in the course of which he developed his expertise in commercial law and gained new skills in arbitration, IP, in particular in relation to gambling & betting.

Prior to joining the firm, Alexander worked two years and a half in the banking department of a Paris-based law firm.

• Emergency legal proceedings that have allowed the restitution of shares to a Canadian shareholder defrauded by other partners of a French company in the new technology sector;
• Follow up of the insolvency procedure of many French creditors for one of the global actors of motor equipment (EU 1346/2000 regulation);
• Negotiation, on behalf of an English company involved in the titanic work trade, of the payment of a debt by a Brazilian conglomerate, crossed seizures and emergency action;
• Legal proceedings of unfair competition between two French printers on behalf of one of the leaders of the direct marketing sector;
• Legal proceedings and expertise regarding the abusive breach of an construction contract;
• Criminal proceedings against directors (for a US company - electronic sector);
