Alexander Weatherall

Associate

Alexander Weatherall is an Associate in our Property, Construction & Planning practice. Alexander advises institutional and corporate occupier clients on the acquisition and disposal of commercial property, portfolio management and landlord and tenant issues. Alexander has particular expertise in private sector investment in NHS LIFT (Local Improvement and Finance Trust) initiatives and the use and effect of compulsory purchase powers.

Alexander is a member of the Urban Land Institute (Young Leaders Group) and the Compulsory Purchase Association.

Representative Experience

    • Advising a local borough council on the compulsory purchase of a housing estate to facilitate the development of a mixed use scheme including 700 residential units and a supermarket store.
    • Advising land owners on agreements for the management of sites affected by the Crossrail project.
    • Assisting with the purchase of three vocational training businesses for consideration in excess of £20 million.
    • Advising on the land acquisition and subsequent development of various sites across the UK for NHS LIFT schemes.
    • Assisting with a series of large scale sale and leaseback schemes for an international supermarket chain.
    • Advising an international producer of industrial products on land acquisitions and disposals of operational sites.
