Aldana Fernandez’s practice focuses on matters involving corporate and corporate finance, financial services and corporate governance. Her experience includes advising clients on due diligence for mergers and acquisitions transactions, incorporation and day-to-day operations of companies, establishment of branches of foreign companies, financial contracts and real estate acquisitions for individuals and commercial entities in the Dominican Republic.

Aldana started her career as a law clerk with Squire Sanders and became an associate once she obtained her J.D.

• Working on a request for authorization of change in control before the regulator of a telecommunications company.
• Assisting a major Latin America-based bank in obtaining governmental approvals and setting the operational structure to operate as a full commercial bank in the Dominican Republic.
