Afia has experience in secured and unsecured, domestic and cross-border banking transactions including general lending and acquisition finance.

Afia has also acted for financial institutions on a wide range of debt capital market issuances and structured products, including own bank issuances as well as repackaging transactions.

• Advising a leading emerging markets private equity fund on the mezzanine financing of a chemicals group with operations in Russian, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia and Finland.
• Advising a leading US investment bank on equity derivatives warrant, note and certificate issues including European retail offers.
• Advising a leading German investment bank in relation to the repackaging of equity and asset backed securities.
