Antonio Cañadas Senior Associate

Antonio Cañadas focuses his practice primarily on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Antonio also has experience in asset based lending and restructuring. He is a member of the corporate strategy and finance group of Squire Sanders’ Madrid Office. He has prior experience working for the Dutch firm Nauta Dutilh, where he practiced in the litigation department for three years. 

Representative Experience

• Acting for Dutch Bank since 2003 in the granting a Spanish securities guaranteeing Dutch loan and credit facilities.
• Acting in a €9million purchase transaction of Spanish Company related to recycling business.
• Acting in a €7million Credit Assignment transaction for a Spanish Group. 
• Acting for the invoice finance division of a UK clearing bank in establishing its business in Spain, including advising on regulatory authorisations and supervision issues, the development of local law-compliant receivables, finance document templates and ancilary matters.
