Ágnes Budai focuses her practice on various areas of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, international business, telecommunication, competition and trademark matters. Ágnes has participated in numerous privatizations and acquisitions.

Ágnes is co-author of an article about the merger and acquisition of companies in Hungary in the 2008 edition of The International Comparative Legal Guide to: Mergers & Acquisitions, published by Global Legal Group Ltd, London.

• Assisting in the due diligence of the privatization of a major commercial bank in Hungary.
• Assisting with several trademark registrations, primarily for large Hungary-based and international food industry companies.
• Assisting in establishing numerous Hungary-based companies owned by non-Hungarian and Hungarian investors.
• Assisting in general corporate matters for one of the largest international hotel chains, the French subsidiary of one of the largest international IT companies and several other Hungary-based entities.
• Assisting in the merger of one of the largest fruit drink-producing companies in Hungary with the Hungary-based subsidiary of a large Poland-based food industry company.
• Co-advising a leading international financial service firm in connection with the acquisition of seven Hungary-based real estate management and development companies.
• Acting for a Hungary-based leading telecommunication company and other companies in special market review proceedings, corporate and competition matters.
• Assisting with legal services on a pro bono basis to a Hungarian fund established by a US-based relief organization and a Hungary-based nonprofit company established by an international nonprofit organization supporting the development of social enterprises.
