Aaron Brogdon focuses his practice on general and complex litigation matters. He has experience litigating and advising clients on a wide range of matters including products liability, intellectual property law, real property disputes, environmental issues, toxic torts, unfair competition, trade secret misappropriation, commercial contract disputes, business torts and healthcare regulatory issues. Aaron has practiced in numerous federal and state courts and has represented the clients in courtrooms, depositions and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Aaron was selected for inclusion in the 2011 and 2012 editions of Ohio Super Lawyers – Rising Stars, a publication that recognizes outstanding lawyers who are under the age of 40 or have been in practice for less than ten years.
In 2002 Aaron served as a judicial intern for Justice Matthew B. Durrant of the Utah Supreme Court.
Aaron is a member of the Ohio and Utah State Bar Associations.
Representative Experience
- Successfully defending an alleged misappropriation of trade secrets against a software company and its founders where the jury reached a complete defense verdict and awarded defendants more than US$30 million for damages in addition to attorneys’ fees on their counterclaim.
- Defending a major pharmaceutical manufacturer and a Tier One automotive components manufacturer in numerous products liability matters.
- Successfully defending a nationwide healthcare provider against several actions arising out of amendments to the company’s operating agreement.
- Defending insurance underwriters against title insurance claims.
