A highly-publicized district court ruling has overturned the 1974 murder conviction of Squire Sanders pro bono client Herman Wallace, who was released after serving 41 years in solitary confinement. Mr. Wallace received hospice care in the home of his loved ones until his death three days later from liver cancer.
